1. INTRODUCTION.
At one of our festivals to mark notable achievers , in the village square. That was where it happened. As a young child bubbling with curiousity, I enjoyed those moments. It was celebration of achievement that made community delightsome.
Those people who in their limelight , were described as ' Wealth That Crown The Elephant'. A song rendered, together with Elephant' tusk trumpet called each of them by name . Watch the prestigious dancing steps of achievers as they jubilate. Glamour called splendour to the stage. Look at their attire adorned with assorted coral beads , listen to small jingling bells around the ankle blend with the music sound .WOW.
What stood out for me, was the few celebrants who caused special attention and attraction with their Buffalo horns. It was Jaw dropping. Accomplished old age is fulfilling. Especially, when it sweetens the welfare of others. Hallo from Buffalo.
2. HALLO FROM BUFFALO.
I). The person in discussion is a talker and a doer .
He is one person described as 'Have You Come'.
An expanse of land that uproots ancient trunk..
He is alluded to as ' Who can carry whole land mass?
A lion's dignity protects him
Someone, who is everybody's moon light.
The one who overwhelmingly feasts a community to food and prevails.
They call him Great Man : Lion, Elephant' Hallo from Buffalo.
ii). I am African Buffalo. Unpredictable and untameable. Rarely do I produce twins. Short legs that carry a massive ox- like body. Look at me! See the large front hooves, to the weight of my massive head, horns and neck. I am STRONG.
iii). Equipped with lethal set of horns, which makes me the wild species of animal world. Who is king of the jungle? And I fumble, tumble and humble and kill lions. I am worthy of respect.
iv). I provide food , hides for clothing and shelter, horns for bones and tools. Watch me on wild life, live. My physical characteristics are tells stories, bring entertainment in the survival of fittest show and thrill humanity with, It is possible Provide you fun.
3. HERE IS MESSAGE OF THE BOSS.
I). Buffalo is a symbol.its manifestation of strength .The horns convey powerful messages which mark their previous achievements, in the family to inspire future generations. WOW.
ii). Buffalo horns are seen as' written ' messages, posted in the absence of writing. Wonderful. And it is seen, taught, learned and transmitted over time. That's the way of building legacy. Isn't nature a book of wonders? If we can read and understand.
iii). The Buffalo horns are thick with solid bone and they fuse at the center of the animal skull forming what is known as a ' BOSS'. It's the horn that supplies the fuse for action that flips a lion as a timid goat. Boss the achiever.
iv). This is special. The horn is a symbol is VICTORY, especially from oppression. Once a Boss~~~ Always a Boss.
v). I make buff for leather. The brown colour stirs up love, admiration and devotion. This colour makes polish shiny and remarkable . Whichever good way, I am Boss. I make waves.
4. WE CAN GO AN EXTRA MILE..
I).When the ' Wealth That Crown Elephant' drum bit, hits the air, it calls those whose achievement celebrate others. Buffalo experience. What goes round , comes round. More cultures can embrace, where possible. And improve on it. We can go extra mile.
Ii). What do we do with our physical build up. ? Watch the hippopotamus, Rhinoceros, Buffalo etc. Their external structure sing a song ' I am strong. With a chorus ' That's who I am. We can do better. Take good care of our body.
iii(. What legacy are we eaving behind, Everyday? How are we intentionally communicating trans generational values? ' Writing message posted in absence of writing, cutely passing on the baton to next generation.
iv). Nobody tells the deaf , there is war, in the offing. When hordes of Buffalo's are on stage, the Lions cleverly retreat and honourably move away.
v). We can make life delight for others. Isn't Buffalo a thriller, Never say die. Buffalo's are smart and forward thinkers. We can do better as Builders, Achievers and guardians. We can make our world beautiful with what we have. Providing outstanding value. We can go an extra mile
